Numerous top-level athletes have recognized Daruvar Spa as a center of excellence for rehabilitation after sports injuries. We are among the few that offer personalized treatment programs for injured athletes, under the expert supervision of specialists in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as kinesiologists.
In the Department for the Prevention and Treatment of Sports Injuries, we carry out rehabilitation treatments based on the following indications:
- overexertion syndromes, painful groin, painful hamstrings, muscle ruptures, distortions (sprains) of the joints of the legs and arms, ankle, knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist,
- Postoperative rehabilitation after arthroscopic surgery (all joints), meniscus removal (complete or partial), reconstruction of cruciate and other ligaments, corrective osteotomies, spine, shoulder and ankle surgery in athletes,
- Vertebral and vertebrogenic syndromes; neck and lower back pain, cervicobrachial syndrome, sciatica (symptomatic disc herniation).
In the treatment of the above-mentioned conditions, we use:
- individual kinesitherapy, i.e. kinesiological treatment supported by numerous manual techniques,
- proprioceptive training,
- isokinetic training,
- proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation,
- reflex locomotion and developmental kinesiology and
- isokinetic system BIODEX System 3 PRO.
Act targeted at the point of dysfunction: precise diagnostics with BIODEX System 3 PRO
For highly precise assessment of dysfunction in a specific joint, we use the isokinetic device BIODEX System 3 PRO. This allows us to test the reciprocal and bilateral relationships of the active and passive stabilizers of the joint being examined.

Isokinetic functional correction on the BIODEX device is the most objective procedure for detailed diagnostics of muscle and joint function, as it provides a detailed insight into the condition of each person, taking into account age, gender, body weight, height, activity and more. BIODEX is the most effective system for the diagnosis and rehabilitation of the upper and lower extremities, and is intended for anyone who wants to diagnose and rehabilitate any part of the musculoskeletal system.

Under the supervision of a professional team of doctors, therapists, and kinesiologists, we provide individualized health treatments for athletes, which include:
- individualized approach to the patient,
- initial and final diagnostics at BIODEX,
- initial and final examination by a specialist doctor,
- physical therapy as recommended by a specialist doctor,
- individual kinesitherapy,
- unlimited use of the swimming pool with medicinal thermal water,
- full board (buffet table),
- accommodation in a double room.

In achieving the goals set by elite athletes, proper nutrition plays a key role. That is why, during your stay at our facility, we offer consultations with a nutritionist. Meals are adjusted to the pace and intensity of the training process. Our primary goal is to ensure optimal cellular function and intercellular communication through proper nutrition and nutrient intake, thereby enabling effective cellular renewal and protection.
Available facilities:
- a superbly equipped and spacious fitness center: over 400 m2, it offers a range of facilities, from a complete cardio program (treadmills, bicycles, elliptical trainers, steppers, rowing machines), to isotonic machines, benches and heavy weights. Power plate vibration training is also offered,
